In addition, we have significant expertise in accessing and moving information out of, into, or between ANY systems, and are often engaged to assist with data conversions and migrations.

SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS AND PRODUCTS

NEW AGE SYSTEMS develops solutions that leverage data you already have. We help you plug the gaps of vendor products and generate new value. Specifically, we access, integrate and leverage information to create specialized windows which improve communication, patient safety and health care processes. We can access and move information out of, into, or between ANY system(s), including proprietary systems like Meditech. Some of our clients utilize our solutions in place of purchasing high priced main stream vendor applications. We employ web technologies such as XML, .NET, and SOAP, as well as traditional tools, enabling us to provide solutions which bridge the web and legacy environments, without involvement from the legacy system vendors.

PDA Clinical Window

Obtain real-time patient information from one or many disparate systems, and display on wireless PDA and cell phone (Palm and Windows CE) devices for physician mobile access. This solution is the only one we're aware of that does not require synchronization and stores no data on the handheld device. Device can be used to view data or input data

Uptime Solution

We're "up" when your systems are "down". Use Clinical Window or PDA Clinical Window also as a backup for when your systems are down. Special pricing available if utilize only as uptime application

Patient Safety Window

Uses data from multiple disparate systems. Identifies and displays real-time clinical alerts via New Age's unique red-yellow-green light nurse unit web monitor. Alerts can be pulled from hospital's clinical system; or New Age can run alert rules against medications, vitals, labs, assessments, or combinations thereof. In addition to clinical alerts, nursing staff utilize the display to identify important information about patients in a single glance (i.e. DNR status, allergies, equipment alarms such as ventilators, etc.).New Age also offers a PDA view of the Patient Safety Window. Or alerts can be pushed to clinicians via smart phone or pager.

Physician Charge Capture

Enables physicians to capture E&M services, procedures performed, and diagnoses treated at the hospital; and transmit for billing. When used by residents, this also serves as an "experience log" documenting procedures and services performed by the resident.

Used for real-time monitoring and management of any process in the hospital. Utilizing data from one or many disparate systems, New Age summarizes and links data into a single view, tailored to the interests of the individual user. Any information available in electronic format can be incorporated into whatever views the hospital's management team requires, for example:

Automates the user account administration process, including a role-based method of linking users to appropriate systems. Manages workflow and automates processes. Reports for tracking systems access.

Developed intranet-based application that provides for the request, approval and tracking of all CDM requests.

ER Patient Tracking Board (under development)
Utilizing information provided by the hospital's ED system and/or other disparate systems, New Age summarizes and links data into a single view displayed prominently in the ED and/or Administration. The ED Board is used for real-time monitoring and management of patient throughput in the ED. We use red-yellow-green lights to indicate status of processes, with details available on drill down.

Radio Frequency Patient Experience Monitor (under development)
Uses RFID technology to track patients, ensuring that their experience moving through the health care process is positive and efficient.
